The call for papers for the DARIAH Annual Event 2023 on the topic of Cultural Heritage Data as Humanities Research Data? is now open!

The deadline for submitting your contributions is February 1st, 2023.

DARIAH invites (digital) humanities researchers, cultural heritage professionals, humanities data stewards and computer, information and data scientists to present their finished or ongoing work related to this year’s theme. To help shape the submissions, the Programme Committee proposes the following three sub-themes:

a) Sustainable workflows for data management and curation;

b) Imagining experimental data spaces for cultural heritage

c) Advancing digital methods for the analysis of cultural heritage.

However, submissions of relevance to the overall Annual Event theme are welcome and not limited to these three sub-themes.

The call for participation accepts:

  • Papers

  • Panels

  • Posters and Demos

The 2023 DARIAH Annual Event is planned to take place in person on June 6-9 in Budapest, Hungary. June 6th will be a day for DARIAH internal meetings, followed by the conference on June 7-9.
