The DARIAH-CH GLAM WG and DaSCH invite you to an information event about ongoing initiatives on the European level. The presentation introduces the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage and the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH), initiatives of the European Commission designed to support collaboration, data sharing, and digital research across the cultural heritage sector.
It explains how the these initiatives relate to the broader ecosystem of European data spaces, particularly its connections with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and other domain-specific infrastructures. The talk highlights key projects currently shaping the development and illustrates how they contribute to interoperable services, tools, and data environments for heritage research. Finally, it outlines opportunities and pathways for Swiss cultural and research institutions to engage with the initiative and participate in emerging European collaborations.
