DaSCHCon 2024 on Archaeology & Interoperability

The Swiss National Data and Service Center for the Humanities DaSCH organises a new DaSCHCon. This year's edition is on Archeology & Interoperability.


When:       October 23rd, 2024 (10:15–16:45)

Where:      Bern and online


We are happy to invite you to the DaSCHCon 2024 in Bern, dedicated to exploring data interoperability and data quality in archaeology.


Morning Session (10:15–12:00):

Presentation of selected projects and initiatives which focus on interoperability and linking of archaeological data, and introduction to a platform dedicated to archaeological research:

·       Digital LIMC (Rita Gautschy)

·       nomisma.org – Linked Open Data in Numismatics (Rahel Ackermann)

·       ArcheoBase (Emmanuel Clivaz)


Afternoon Session (13:00–15:45):

Presentation of accepted contributions (see programme for details).


Closing Discussion (15:45–16:30):

Open discussion and exchange of knowledge between the participants.
