With a clear understanding of Open Research Data’s (ORD) pivotal role in achieving scientific excellence, Switzerland has crafted an ambitious national strategy, which is spearheaded by the Strategy Council (StraCo), a new governing body in charge of ORD.

In the upcoming edition of the Swiss EOSC Coffee, Madeleine Hamel, senior policy officer for the StraCo, in conversation with Anna Fill, scientific advisor at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) in the unit of International Research and Innovation Programmes, will provide insights into the StraCo’s mandate, structure, and ongoing efforts, underscoring its commitment to fostering international connections, community-driven initiatives, and future-driven science.

Additionally, potential synergies with EOSC will be discussed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session, gaining further understanding of the StraCo's activities and objectives, and implications for their work and/or institutions.
