About the event

ETH is pleased to announce a six-day course providing a hands-on introduction to Python programming and textual data analysis. We will hold this course on-site at ETH Zürich (the HG in Zentrum):

Part 1: Introduction to programming in Python Monday, 01 June and Wednesday, 03 June 2026

Part 2: Working with text data Monday, 15 June and Wednesday, 17 June 2026

Part 3: Machine learning for text data Tuesday, 23 June and Wednesday, 24 June 2026


The registration fee is CHF 600 for the whole course (six days, food and drinks during the breaks are not included).


The course is aimed at people who do not have prior programming knowledge and plan to process and analyse digitised textual data.
